Give ‘em out to Covidiots

Earth Day

Bob

See photo, then read.

But you know the injection would have turned him into the Evil McCoy, and it would have taken Spock and Kirk the entire hour to get him back to normal.

End scene:

McCoy lying on bed in Sickbay. Kirk and Spock standing by his side.

Nurse Chappel: "His vital signs are recovering."

McCoy stirs, opens his eyes.

Kirk: "You gave us quite a scare, Bones. Spock has to resort to some very drastic measures."

McCoy looks at Spock. "I hope you didn't inject me with your damn Vulcan blood!"

Kirk and Spock exchange glances, and both smile.

Rev war reenactor humor

On the 6th Pennsylvania Regiment Members Facebook page, I posted :

"Don't call them FARBS.
They're Undocumented Reenactors."

One of our members replied:

"True Farbs come exclusively from the Farbergé region of France.

Probably the most authentic representation of science on the big screen

A scientific exchange of ideas from the movie "Awakenings"

Doctor Sayer (Robin Williams) is a fresh-out-of-school Scientist.
Doctors #1 and #2 are older, and more experienced.

=====

Dr. Sayer: "Earthworms!"

Dr. #1: "I'm sorry?"

Dr. Sayer: "It was an immense project. I was to extract 1 decigram of myelin from 4 tons of earthworms."

Dr. #1: "Really?"

Dr. Sayer: "Yes, I was on that project for 5 years.  I was the only one who believed in it. Everyone else said it couldn't be done."

Dr. #2: "It can't."

Dr. Sayer: "I know that now. I *proved* it."
